Membership
Sharpen your skills. Build your Network. Become a Member by attending a Luncheon

Luncheon Annual Membership

The annual membership fee  is included in the price of the first luncheon that you attend in the calendar year. After that you are a member and can enjoy the luncheon discounts and other benefits as described below. Annual membership starts at the beginning of each calendar year.

There is no membership requirement for Webcasts. You may join at any time.

Luncheon prices vary from STEM supporters to non-members to members depending on the particular event factors including venue and timing of registration. Student volunteer luncheons receive a subsidy but they must be preauthorized. CM&E reserves the right to cancel any reservation.

When CM&E does not have a separate Annual Dues drive, the dues are part of the first luncheon price at any point in time.

You can get the early-bird price if you sign up at least two weeks in advance for a particular event. Prices vary for each event and may change without notice.

An essential part of CM&E’s mission is to help STEM students become future leaders of society with a strong understanding of business and technology. CM&E has increased its STEM student attendance to luncheons from almost nil in 2009 to over 100 in 2014. Joining our events gives them a unique opportunity to connect with seasoned professionals and understand the business side of their fields. CM&E events have received the highest ratings in satisfaction by over 90% of student attendees.

Expand your Network

Technology translated into business and investments drives economic progress. Attend CM&E events and webcasts to get cutting-edge insights from thought leaders, stimulating networking and valuable connections.

Strengthen Your Career

Dynamic markets and technology are reshaping all aspects of economic activity. Get ready for agile competition, sudden disruptions in your workplace and new functions. Broaden your horizons and sharpen your strategy with authoritative, timely and actionable insights.

Support STEM education

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) have been amazing forces propeling the advancement of civilization. CM&E membership helps move STEM forward through tangible support of scholars and ACS educational programs.

ACS is recognized among the few scientific societies that have the commitment, breadth and reach to support science education throughout life. ACS organizes local activities that nurture the love for science since Kindergarten and throughout college, provides mentoring and financial support of talented scholars, develops science education tools for teachers, meets with government officials to move forward educational policies and rewards scientific achievement.
